LaBoneyard.com is all about "The Noid" OK so what the heck is "The Noid" you ask?Well Noid is my little baby boy, my heart and soul dog, a male hairless Chinese Crested who as it turns out is my Muse and the store site Mascot.
The Chinese Crested graphic is in Noid's likeness and was done by a wonderful friend and talented graphic artist Tina Hicks who has also done an anime' version of Noid as well which I have as an exclusive embroidery design for LaBoneyard
It all started back in November 2007
I started the store as a Doggy Boutique and for the 1st year or so it was just one of many on the world wide web and didn't stand out or do very well.
I decided that it needed to change and evolve and so I branched out and bought an embroidery machine so I could offer a more personalized product.
We still are evolving and changing and have since gone from only Dog clothes and accessories to custom dog clothing such as our 4-legger jammies and sweatshirts to our newest line the martingale harness.
The harness came about due to necessity when we had a close call with Noid when he slipped out of his harness and ran, Luckily we got him but had to make sure something like that never happened again and so this harness became a priority and to make a harness that he couldn't escape from.
I have always like the martingale collars they are great for dogs like Cresteds and sighthounds that have the slimmer more streamlined heads and slip out so I thought there has to be a way to do that same idea for the harness so that the dog doesn't have too much pressure on the delicate neck and so this harness was the result
We do so much more however than just dog items, towels and totes and aprons and so very much more, I will try anything and strive to do the very best I possibly can as great customer service is very important to me!
We also have an extensive collection of embroidery designs close to 10,000 at this point so chances are that if you want something I will have many to choose from so please just ask! I cannot list each design on the site but will be more than willing to email samples to you to choose from or if you have a clip-art or your own design in most cases I can digitize it into an embroidery design for a truly one of a kind and personal item!
Because we are a small home-based business it can take a wee bit longer to have the items made and sent out, everything or most everything is made to order and customized to suit your needs so we don't stock pre-made.
Also because we are a small home business many items that can be made may not be listed such as:
Belly Bands
Housecoats
Bath Towels
Table clothes
Motorcycle Helmet Bags
and so much more.....................
We just do not have the capital to buy or make everything and list it but if you have an idea or want something not on the site just email and we can give you a quote and work with you to get you exactly what you want!
In fact LaBoneyard now has a brand new addition to the family
Daxton Alexander was born on August 19th 2011
he is my 1st grandbaby and I am of course as pleased as can be
that being said however now means that not only is doggy attire important around here but keep an eye out for much more in the way of baby items and embroidery designs with babies and children in mind!
Our home is also a non-smoking home and the only pets here are our 3 non-shedding Chinese Crested dogs.
